Customer Management : Capture A Customer

In this section we will take you through the process of capturing your customer’s details, customer’s site details, customer’s post details, customer’s shifts, and contract requirements. The basic requirements for capturing your customer’s information follows the below hierarchy:

Each customer can have multiple sites and each site can have multiple posts, but a customer must first have a site and then the site must have a post.

The Capture Customer task allows the signed in user (Customer and Configuration Manager) to Capture and Edit a customer.

Animation: In this animation we capture a new customer.


  1. Browse the process group and select Customers, then select the Customer Management process, select the Capture Customer task.

    The Capture Customer task allows you to capture your customer’s details in (4) four quick steps.

    • Step 1: Capture the customer’s business details.
    • Step 2: Capture the customer’s contact details. Remember to select the default contact.
    • Step 3: Attach the supporting documentation relevant to your customer and your company. Such as: SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) and or contract amendments
    • Step 4: Click Complete to capture your customer.

    Note: The default number of file attachments per line item is (1) one. The maximum upload file size limit per line item is 7MB.
