Capture A Site

The Capture Site task allows the signed in user (Customer and Configuration Manager) to capture a Customer’s site details.

Note: Each customer can have multiple sites and each site can have multiple posts, but a customer must first have a site and then the site must have a post.

Animation: In this animation we capture a new customer site.

Steps

  1. Browse the process group and select Customers, then select the Customer Management process, select the Capture Site
  2. When opening the Capture Site task in Step 1: Select your Captured customer and review the populated business details.
  3. Under Step 2: For a new site: Select the Create radio button complete the required fields with a red Asterix (*): For editing an existing site: Select the Edit radio button, select the site from the drop down then review/ amend the site details as follows:
    • Payroll From Date: This is the day of the month the customer site billing begins. This will also be the day the roster for this site will begin.
    • Name: this is the site name.
    • Code: this is the site code.
    • Address: this is the physical location of the site.
    • City: this is the city of the physical location of the site.
  1. Under Step 3: is a check box that if checked allows you to specify that the Site will be on a pattern lock. Pattern lock requires a consistence working pattern(s) on the site and allows the system to auto generate future dated rosters for this site, based on the working pattern(s) selected.
  2. Under Step 4: Select the routing option for the Site Attendance and Timesheets, options are:
    1. Control Room
    2. Site Managers Group
  3. Under Step 5: Click Complete to process changes.
